CALL FOR TEACHERS

In the context of the COVID-19 crisis, the great majority of European countries implemented country-wide school closures, and most European teachers were forced to adapt to an emergency remote teaching setting relying heavily on digital technologies.

This pandemic has shown us than now more than ever innovation in education is key. For this reason, IMPACT EdTech launched its emergency “Remote Schooling’ Open Call, and selected 11 young European companies (start-ups) which provide innovative solutions that can address challenges faced by schools and learners in remote learning settings.

Now, European Schoolnet is launching a call for teachers who are ready to test out these solutions and provide feedback on their pedagogical use: 10 solutions will be tested in the classrooms (type A1) and one will be entering a focus group co-creation process with teachers (type A2). We are looking for 33 teachers of pupils in primary and secondary school from all over Europe. The piloting, that will run from February 2021 to April 2021, will evaluate each solutions’ potential for classroom use and its capacity to improve student knowledge and engagement.

Each of the 11 different start-ups participating in the IMPACT EdTech programme is looking for their fortunate 3 teachers. We know that you might have many questions such as: What are the application’s requirements? or Which solution would best fit my profile?

Do not worry, we have prepared an explanatory overview of the different requirements for each pilot. Take a look and discover all the possibilities you have at hand!
